The JuCan Foundation, in partnership with our generous friends, granted the wish list(s) of several families this past week. We arranged a sponsor for each of these "JuCan families" and they made the magic happen! Each of these families have a child in cancer treatment. Due to the cost related to a cancer diagnosis, many families often cannot afford to purchase presents for their children.
JuCan is somewhat different than many other organizations, in that we provide the Christmas wish list of the ENTIRE FAMILY. Sometimes this necessitates multiple sponsors. Each sponsor has the joy of making "Christmas wishes" come true, often for children who are celebrating their last Christmas.
Our first #JuCanFamily to be sponsored for the 2020 year was 15 year old Marco! We are thankful to his sponsor, Dana Curlee and family for shopping and finding the special things that Marco & family asked for!
