This years design is taken from one of Julia Cobb's drawings when she was in the 1st grade (before cancer).   During her cancer treatment (age 6-8), Ju was often in a hospital bed, hooked up to chemo,  and working to create a new "masterpiece." She gave most of her drawings away to encourage nurses, doctors, and patients.

This poem (as given by the teacher as an assigment) was the inspiration behind the design:

"A chubby little snowman  had a carrot nose.  Along came a bunny,  and what do you suppose?

That hungry little bunny,  looking for some lunch,  Grabbed that snowman’s nose,  Nibble, nibble, crunch!"
