9th Annual (2020)

Julia Cobb – JuCan Foundation Toy Drive & Adopt-a-Family

Sponsor Application

The JuCan Foundation Annual Toy Drive is patterned after 8 yr old Julia Cobb’s own heart. It began in 2012 when she hand-delivered toys that she collected and shopped for during her treatment for bone cancer. Ju wanted every child to have a great Christmas and experience the magic of toys under the tree. What started as just a small toy collections of toys in 2012, has grown to JuCan collecting over 123,000 toys in the Houston community over 7 years. Please help carry on Julia Cobb’s legacy of giving to make our 8th year a giant success for families in cancer treatment. SHARE THE HOPE OF CHRISTMAS!

The toy drive benefits the MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital (Santa’s Workshop) & The MD Anderson Proton Therapy Center in Houston, Texas, in addition to JuCan Families in cancer treatment.  Families in need of assistance with Christmas are nominated to our foundation through hospitals and other local organizations.  JuCan works to connect these families with a sponsor.  Please complete the online application if you are interested in sponsoring a family or an “In-Kind” gift.

  1. Register your organization as a collection center by contacting Jennifer at 713-413-7547 or complete the online application.   Volunteer to help deliver/ pickup collection boxes, adopt a “JuCan” family and fulfill their Christmas wish list. You can also donate online and designate your gift to the “2019 Toy Drive.” 100% of the proceeds go towards the toy drive & families in cancer treatment.
