Robbie Mudroch

Celebrating the life of Robbie – JUNE 23, 1993 – FEBRUARY 12, 2019

The Cobb family and JuCan Foundation extend our love & prayers to the Mudroch family in the loss of their son, Robbie (25) to Osteosarcoma.

Last **St. Patrick’s Day, during the #JuliaCobb BoardWALK for #ChildhoodCancerAwareness, Robbie and his parents joined us for the 4.13 mile walk along the Pleasure Pier in Galveston. Although he was in tremendous pain, he completed EVERY STEP!
We now walk alongside the Mudroch family through their grief and sadness. Please share some encouraging prayers and thoughts in the “comments” for this beautiful family. You can read the obituary here:https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/katy-tx/robert-mudroch-8159274?fbclid=IwAR1KF7MnmUNIu9oKlj4DFKAvhTGt0urtLFTdvGniqM93msboJZYR8WaZrn0

**We will give special honor this year to ROBBIE during the #JuliaCobb St. Patrick’s Day BoarWALK for Childhood Cancer. Please make plans to join us on Sunday, March 17th at the Pleasure Pier at 3:30 PM.

JuCan – Alabama Chapter Gives Christmas to Family

JuCan – Alabama Chapter Gives Christmas to Family

JuCan – Alabama Chapter

Thank you, JuCan Foundation Alabama/Birmingham Chapter for showing ❤️ to the Eaton Family this Christmas! Angel Eaton battled #EwingsSarcoma bone cancer and passed away on September 18, 2016. This young lady was passionate about Jesus, her mama and her new baby sister, Autumn! She felt blessed to be well enough to welcome Autumn into this world and they got to bond and spend months together laughing and playing like 2 sisters should. They lived life in “fast forward” as Angel’s time was short and she couldn’t stay long.
Angel was eager to head off to college this past Fall and start her career path toward cosmetology and theatrical make up artistry. She never got to fulfill that dream due to a relapse in her health, but we prefer to envision Angel painting the heavenly sky with the largest, puffiest brushes and the most beautiful water colors!
The Cobb Family had followed Angel for a few years during her battle and we took a detour to meet up with she and her mom, Kim, when we were on our 4,000 mile #WalkAcrossAmerica for Pediatric Cancer Awareness in May 2015. Angel, her mom and Angel’s fellow cancer warrior friend, Kelsey Honeycutt ate dinner with Team JuCan and we celebrated cancer victories and great health over Japanese Hibachi steaks.
Boy what a year can bring….

As part of the JuCanFoundation.org mission, we not only help families during their battle with CANcer, but we also aid in the aftermath! This Christmas was a first for the Eaton family without Angel and nothing we can do would bring her back. But, we didn’t want Kim and her sweet baby Autumn to go without. As a tribute to Angel, the O’Donnell Family (Jeff, Stefanie, Tara (our Ju’s BFF), and Kayla) brought gifts and a large donation to be used toward the many outstanding expenses that Kim has as a single mom.

If you would like to help with donating toward a grave marker for Angel, please designate “Angel Eaton” with your gift to JuCanFoundation.org/donate. We hope to be able to help lay Angel to rest and make her memory as beautiful as she was. #JuCan #JuDid #AngelDid #KimCan #UCanMakeADifference #GodCan #AngelsAmongUs #JuCanAlabama

It’s a JuCan Christmas for 6 Houston Families

It’s a JuCan Christmas for 6 Houston Families

This has been one of the most amazing Christmases ever for the JuCan Foundation! This year, JuCan partnered with 25 area businesses and families in collecting a record 7,000 toys for our 4th Annual Toy Drive for The MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital. The response from our Houston friends was overwhelming! Thank you!

In addition to our toy drive, we partnered with businesses this year who helped the JuCan Foundation to provide Christmas to 6 families in the Houston area. This week we had the joy of being Elves and accompaning Mr. and Mrs. Clause to make the Santa drops (enjoy the pics). Thank you Santa & Mrs. Clause for graciously taking time from the North Pole to join us.

Our thanks to the following businesses and people:

1) Abacus Plumbing and Air Conditioning
2) Home Depot-Porter
3) Home Depot- Humble
4) Home Depot Porter Merchandising Team
5) Gartz, Weinman, Randy, Prangle Families
6) Taylor Family
7) JuCan Birmingham/Springville Chapter

We would like to especially thank Mike Myers at Abacus and Angela Thorndyke at Home Depot in Porter for coordinating our efforts with their companies. You guys are amazing and JuCan is grateful to you for your time and commitment.
What started in 2012 with Julia Cobb hand delivering some toys to MD Anderson has morphed into an enormous blessing for the city of Houston and beyond. Her JuCAN spirit continues to touch hearts and impact lives.
Our prayers remain with these families and we ask ‪#‎TeamJuCan‬ to join us in praying. Some have lost loved ones to cancer, and some continue in the fight looking for a cure.

Please consider a monthly or one-time gift in Julia Cobb’s honor to enable her foundation to continue supporting families fighting cancer in Houston:
